PlovDev 2021 Recap
November 25th marked the last day of the PlovDev conference that we at Proxiad have organized for the past 9 years. PlovDev’s purpose is to gather the IT community in Bulgaria and provide a platform for professionals in the field to exchange ideas, discuss best practices, and network.
The non-profit conference supports a different cause every year. In 2021, the chosen charity was “The Hidden Talents of Bulgaria” by NGO Operation Teddy Bear. Together with our sponsors and the guests of the conference, we gathered 4979 leva that will be donated to the cause.
As the organizers, we’re happy to say that PlovDev 2021 was one of the most successful editions of the conference, with 407 attendees from eleven countries. The event was well-received – our guests gave it a 9.1 (out of 10) event score. We’re thankful for our guest-lecturers, our sponsors Progress, Uber, VMware Bulgaria, Chaos Group, Looming Tech, and Manpower Group Bulgaria, our media partners DEV.BG, Manager, Digitalk, AIBEST, ICT Cluster Burgas, and the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.
Let’s not forget the most important people who make PlovDev what it is – its guests. We hope we get to see every one of them again next year!
