ProxiSummer Camp Returns for the Second Year in a Row
If there’s anything we learned from 2020, it’s that even the more introverted amongst us need to change the scenery once in a while. Spending time together as a team was something we greatly missed and thus, an idea was born: a new summer initiative that would enable our employees to work and spend time together at the beach.
We called this initiative ProxiSummer Camp and wasted no time in implementing it – our first group left for the seaside at the end of July 2020. We chose Nessebar on the Black Sea Coast as our summer destination and spent a bit more than a month there. Our team’s feedback was overwhelmingly positive and that’s how we knew we had ourselves a new tradition.
In 2021, we were able to plan things on an even larger scale. This time, we picked Sozopol for our base camp and we reserved spots for the whole summer – from the end of June until mid-September. Just like last year, every one of our employees is able to spend a week working from the seaside. Our main priorities were:
- To encourage our employees to mingle and collaborate
- To provide a fun atmosphere that encourages team building
- To ensure that the right conditions for focused work are still present
And we found all this at a place that’s literally steps away from the beach! We’ll just let it speak for itself:
