In response to this opportunity, our client embarked on developing a solution, enlisting Proxiad Health Tech‘s expertise to create a module essential for configuring the processing of medical information.  This collaboration aims to set new standards in healthcare data management by leveraging advanced technologies and innovative approaches.  

The Challenge: Leading the Digitalization in healthcare through Efficient Data Management

Our objective was to develop a solution capable of managing extensive medical information. This required a system that not only integrated effortlessly with a myriad of hospital technologies but also provided immediate access to crucial, real-time information. The system was designed with scalability in mind, ready to adapt and evolve in response to new data types and devices, ensuring hospitals could maintain the highest standards of care without being limited by technological constraints. Achieving this required a sophisticated approach to data processing, configuration, and management.  

Proxiad’s Approach: Implementing Advanced Technologies and Architectures

 Proxiad Health Tech’s strategy to meet these challenges was to leverage a combination of advanced methodologies and architectural patterns. The chosen technology stack included:  

  • Angular and TypeScript: For building dynamic, scalable, and maintainable frontend libraries, ensuring that the solution’s user interface is responsive and intuitive.  
  • NgRx: Implementing the Redux pattern within Angular applications to manage state efficiently, ensuring a predictable state container for the app’s scalable and robust architecture.  
  • .NET Core and C#: Selected for backend development, these technologies provided a powerful, efficient, and scalable framework to build APIs.  
  • Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS), Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD): These architectural patterns and designs were employed to ensure that the solution was not only scalable but also maintainable and adaptable to future needs.  
  • Azure: The choice of Azure for deployment emphasized the solution’s need for high availability, scalability, and security, leveraging cloud technologies to meet these demands.  

The Proxiad Health Tech team, consisting of four developers, a tech lead, two automation QAs, and a delivery manager, was tasked with building Angular libraries and .NET Core APIs. These components were integral parts of a larger “Micro Frontend” solution, designed to modularize the front end for better scalability and maintainability.

By adopting a “Micro Frontend” approach, the solution could be broken down into smaller, more manageable pieces, allowing for independent development, testing, and deployment. The backend APIs, built on .NET Core and employing CQRS, Clean Architecture, and DDD design patterns, ensured that the system’s architecture was clean, with a clear separation of concerns. This setup allowed for more efficient data processing, easier maintenance, and scalability, accommodating the ever-growing and evolving nature of medical data.
