Meet Angjele Jovanovski, Senior PHP Developer. He is a skilled expert and helps organizations achieve their goals via his know-how in developing web applications and systems. Angjele shares with us his motivation for hard work. He has a background in playing football, and he discusses how his hobbies help him with his everyday work, while also revealing his artistic side and passion for guitar playing, in the most recent People @ Proxiad article.
1.Let’s start from the beginning of your Proxiad journey. How did you join our team?
Starting in a new company can be an exciting and challenging experience, and it was the same for me when I first became part of Proxiad SEE. I was impressed by the company’s mission, values, and culture and was enthusiastic to contribute with my skills and knowledge. The hiring process was demanding but fair, and I appreciated the chance to present my qualifications and explain why I am suitable for the role. Once I received the offer, I was thrilled to accept it and begin my journey with the company.
2.Can you tell us more about your role in the company?
As a PHP developer at Proxiad, I have to design, develop, and maintain web applications and systems that support the company’s business objectives. To make sure that our solutions satisfy the requirements of our customers and stakeholders, I closely collaborate with cross-functional teams made up of product owners, designers, and QA engineers.
3.What motivates you in your day-to-day work? What are the challenges that keep your work interesting?
I’m motivated by the opportunity to create impactful solutions that meet the needs of our customers and help drive the business’s success. I take pride in my work and find satisfaction in knowing it makes a positive difference for our users.
In terms of challenges, I enjoy solving complex problems and finding elegant solutions. Software development is moving quickly, so there is always something new to learn and new technologies to master. Keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in PHP development is a constant challenge, but it keeps my work exciting and rewarding.
Another thing that I find particularly motivating is collaborating with my colleagues. We can combine our most vital skills and knowledge to create innovative solutions as a team.
Overall, I find that the demands of staying updated on new technologies and cooperating with my team keep me engaged and motivated in my day-to-day work as a PHP developer.
4.How did your love for programming start?
I found my way to programming because of my passion for problem-solving. I was fascinated by how a few lines of code could transform a simple idea into a powerful tool or application.
5.What lessons from your background in football help you in your day-to-day tasks?
I’ve learned a lot from my experience playing football, which I apply to my everyday duties. I believe that just as any football player needs to work with his teammates to score a goal, every professional needs to find the best ways to collaborate with his team to achieve top results.
The sport has also helped me realize the importance of determination, hard work, consistency, and discipline, which are necessary for accomplishments on and off the field.
6.We’ve heard of your passion for playing the guitar. How does this activity fit into your job? Does it assist you in your day-to-day job?
Yes, I’m very passionate about it and although it may seem not related to my job, it actually benefits me as a professional. This helps me relax after a long day, which makes me come back to work refreshed and more focused. In addition, learning and practicing the guitar requires focus, patience, and discipline — all traits that are advantageous for my job. It also develops my creativity and problem-solving abilities, which can come in handy when approaching complex coding challenges or new ideas.
7.What is the thing that people don’t know about Proxiad but you think they should?
People may not be aware of Proxiad’s commitment to investing in the professional development of our staff as an IT company. The organization puts a lot of effort into providing team members with the tools and training they require to advance in their careers.
